Travel Documentation
U.S. citizens must show proof of citizenship (such as an original or certified copy of a birth certificate) and a government-issued photo ID (such as a driver’s license). For a complete list of accepted documents, see
www.travel.state.gov. U.S. Alien Residents need a valid Alien Resident Card. Canadian citizens must present a valid passport. Non-U.S. citizens need a valid passport and a valid, unexpired U.S. Multiple Re-entry Visa, if applicable.
Carnival recommends that all guests travel with a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the completion of travel. For more information or to obtain a passport application, visit www.travel.state.gov. Passport Services (www.passportservices.com/carnival) can also provide application assistance.

Trip Insurance
A Vacation Protection Plan is available through Carnival Cruise Lines.  An overview of the plan is available at www.carnivalcruiseline.com. In the search box in the top right corner of the web page type in “vacation protection plan”. You will be directed to a page that explains what the insurance covers. The actual insurance provider is Berkely Care. If you prefer talking to the provider directly call 1-800-331-2796. Insurance cost is based on what type of cabin you have purchased. If you decide to buy the vacation protection plan you will purchase it through Third Coast Travel at the time of your final payment on or before October 1. Premiums are non-refundable. Please be aware that Third Coast Travel is the “middle man”, so to speak and we take your payment for the insurance and forward to Carnival at the time of your final payment. In other words, we don’t profess to know specifics about what the plan covers. Details should be obtained from Berkely Care or from the Carnival website as mentioned above.

Booking Cruise Excursions

After you have created a profile and user name on Carnival’s website and have received your individual booking number you may book cruise excursions online 120 days prior to sailing.
The website address is www.carnivalcruiseline.com. You may also purchase excursions once on board the Conquest.

Group Entertainment

There will be several acoustic shows during the 7 days and group happy hours. Larry Joe is also bringing his band. There’s a late night open jam on 4 of the 7 nights so if you play and sing bring your instruments.

Laminates and Goodie Bags
Laminates and goodie bags will be distributed in the lobby of the Galveston Hilton to those people who attend the Bon Voyage Party on January 1st and also in the lobby outside the Degas Lounge on the first night of the cruise one hour prior to the first group event. Laminates must be worn to all group activities onboard.

Final Payments
Your final payment is due no later than October 1st.  You will receive a reminder about this payment shortly prior to October 1st.

Other Information
In December you will receive a detailed brochure about group events. You may choose to have your documents mailed to you or receive information about how and when you will be able to print your travel documents online.

Please note:
Because you are a part of a group you will not be able to print your travel documents until the entire group is finalized. If you choose to have your documents mailed to you do not attempt to view or print your documents online. Doing so will disable Carnival's ability to mail your documents.
