Trip Insurance
A Vacation Protection Plan is
available through Carnival Cruise Lines.
An overview of
the plan is available at
www.carnivalcruiseline.com.
In the search box in the top
right corner of the web page type
in “vacation protection plan”. You
will be directed
to a page that explains what the
insurance covers.
The actual insurance provider
is Berkely Care. If you prefer
talking to the provider directly call 1-800-331-2796.
Insurance cost is based on
what type of cabin you have purchased. If you decide to buy the vacation protection plan you will
purchase it through Third Coast Travel at the time of your final payment on or
before October 1. Premiums are
non-refundable. Please be aware
that Third Coast Travel is the “middle man”, so to speak and we take your
payment for the insurance and forward to Carnival at the time of your final
payment. In other words, we don’t
profess to know specifics about what the plan covers. Details should be obtained from Berkely Care or from the
Carnival website as mentioned above.
